Rural Remains

Oh look, another shed! This little guy has seen some better days. I was a little weary to climb up onto it as I didn't want to crash inside. It held up though!

I'm trying to visit my favourite spots that are only reachable by walking presently. Once the snow hits I wont be able to get there. Well I could... but wading through 4 ft of snow in a very unfashionable snowsuit is not  my ideal day ....a serious workout... but not an ideal day. The winter months may lead to lots of photos in my driveway. Just a heads up.

I spent my Sunday sewing myself a few new skirts, I'm not quite done yet. Sewing and I have a love/hate relationship. I am incredibly impatient and I don't use patterns. While sewing puts me in such a bad mood, I love having new clothes that I made myself. I will never sew the same thing twice because I remember how mad I got making it! See my new skirts in the next few days...

PS - New winter hair colour!

shirt/skirt - thrifted
sweater - kenzie
boots - the bay
seashell necklace - bought in Hawaii

  4. Love the new color! And these pictures are great. My sewing machine is at my home (not at the university with me) and I wish I could have more practice with it! I guess these things come in time : )
