Peace

Contrary to popular belief I don't hang out with only my animals. Sometimes it may look like that but occasionally I do hang out with people. They just aren't photo-hogs like my dog! I let Ninny have one shot with me and then she decided to photo bomb some! Dogs these days. They are outta control.

I'm attempting to be more colourful. It's hard to get inspired with colour when this place is so dreary. So I opted for the brightest cardigan that I own (one I never wear) instead of my go-to brown one. Another item I never wear are these boots. I've had them for about 4 years now and have never worn them. I think this may change because I really liked them with the dress!

toque - ebay
dress - thrifted
cardigan - old navy

  5. My dog ALWAYS photobombs my pictures if I'm in my backyard! It's so annoying- as cute as she is, she tends to bark. Yesterday, our neighbors heard her barking and decided to take a peek outside. And there I am, posing in front of my camera. Awwful!

I love your dress and the green is so pretty!

  10. it's funny that you say that, because i really do only hang out with my dogs. and cat. and rabbit. when you have five animals running around your house, it's hard not to hang out with them.

  11. HAha silly Ninny :) So glad you broke out the bright green cardi, it makes it seem like there's actual life out there in all that snow! Also, why you be hatin' on those boots for so long? They're fab.

  14. I totally had that same belt when I was 8 ('92/'93) and have a photo of it on me when I was 10. hehe.

I love the green sweater/cardigan!!! it looks great with that dress! It is okay if you did hang out a lot with your animals, but I didn't think you did anyway. hehe.

  16. HI Shy,

Hello from Toronto. My dog is exactly the same....often I take my photos with a tripod while he has his morning walk....so he frequently likes to grace the shots with his handsome presence. And I can't even keep count of the number of shots I have to delete because his tail/ ear/ nose/ paw is in an awkward spot.

On another note....I see you're from Alberta and I am linking you up in my daily reads page if you won't mind. Would you like for us to stay in touch via google??

Look forward to hearing from you

    Love

P.S: I really like your blogs design, the header is what caught my attention first but then the simple sidebars are so pretty. How did you do this...if you don't mind me asking?
