So it's my mom's birthday. This is her back in her hippy days. She still has that necklace. Anyways. You may remember the post I did awhile back about my shoes that haven't been worn but really wanted to be. Well I thought as a tribute to my mom's "29th" (or so she says) birthday, I'd show you some of my favourites of her shoes. I obviously inherited the shoe-love gene from her and I sooooooooooo SO wish we had the same size feet. She is a 5 and I am a 6.5. I've tried squeezing in her shoes but I hear a shriek and get a lecture about how I'm stretching them everytime. If anyone out there is a size 5 I'll let you know when she doesn't want them anymore. ;)
Seriously. I am so sad I can't fit these. Especially those high vintage lace up boots.
Goodness your mom as THE best shoes! So so cool. They really feel vintagy. Too bad I'm not a size 5!
ReplyDeleteahhh those are awesome! i'm constantly harassing my mom about whether she has any "vintage" items.. (she hates when I tell her, her old stuff is vintage hhaha) she has some great sweaters, but for some reason she gave away all of the amazing shoes i see her wearing in old pictures.. so sad.

ReplyDeleteYour mom has some amazing shoes! My mom used to be shoe-crazy. She still has some of her awesome vintage shoes. My case is the complete opposite of yours. My mom is a 6.5 and I'm a 5! Let's swap moms so we can borrow shoes!
