Summery Blooms


And now it's time for finding new hobbies part 3! Actually I just tried making some floral arrangements from the lovely flowers that are in bloom outside. Top one is for our living room -- bottom is for the kitchen table. We obviously have a bit of an obsession white vases (the bottom one is just a vase set inside a fruit bowl). Have a good long weekend everyone. I'll be working all weekend long :(.

    These floral arrangements are great. Flowers always brighten/cheer up a room. Did you get to check out the World Skills competition when it was in Calgary? Flower arrangements were part of it and they were doing the craziest things!! It was pretty awesome. :)

    These are lovely! I took a floral design class a few weeks ago, and it was wonderful--so relaxing. I need to invest in a few fancy vases. Your second arrangement is especially inspiring; that bowl is such a beautiful shape. :)
