I can't even express how happy I am that I can freely walk around without snow up to my eyeballs. Plus spring melting means we have a little creek behind our house! Every spring when the creek is running I have to leave my window open at night no matter how cold it is just so I can hear it. It's a bit of a novelty for me! It will disappear until next year soon enough so I have to soak it in.
This dress is every big-boobed girls challenge. Strapless. I end up wearing a normal bra and throwing on a cardigan in order to keep everything in order. If you know what I mean. But I found folding the top down and wearing it as a skirt lets me get some more wear out of it! Luckily I had a belt that is the same colour so I could add a waist to it because it looked a little odd without it.
dress - uo shirt - joe fresh belt - thrifted cardigan - too old to remember rubber boots for wading purposes |
Strapless dresses are the bane of my existence. I would love to wear them (especially because I have some heavy tattooing on my shoulder and upper back that it would be nice to show off) but I can never find a strapless bra that actually holds the ladies up properly. Ugh.

Strapless dresses, I am the opposite of bib-boobed girls and even I can't wear them! They never stay up unless I use double-sided tape :p I often sew on spaghetti straps to prevent that from happening ^^ This look is gorgeous by the way! the cardigan, belt and dress come together beautifuly! x
ReplyDeleteoh man..i hate strapless dresses. i only wear them when it is 2 hot to wear anything else. ugh.
ReplyDeletelove the pictures Shy..good to see the snow has disappeared. :P

Very creative, and AWESOME way to style a strapless dress. Those things are nightmares in my opinion. I'm always afraid I'm gonna lean over and have some Janet Jackson-esque "wardrobe malfunction". hahaha
ReplyDeleteGreat necklace, and I love the creative use of photography.
ReplyDeleteI love strapless dresses but even with itty bitty boobies it's difficult to have them stay in place properly.
ReplyDeleteThe way you styled this one is so clever!! These pictures are awesome, no snow makes me verrry happy & that creek sounds awesome.
