Here are some thrifted shoes I've found over the last week. I was too excited to wait for suitable conditions to share!

Not That Kind of Blog!

I really don't want to make this blog into a "Look-at-the-hundreds-of-cute-pictures-I-take-of-my-animals-daily" kinda thing. That's what my facebook is for! I do take so many a day...it's ridiculous. This picture was too cute not to throw up here though. My more camera shy dog and one of the kittens were all tuckered out after Christmas!

I also am dying to get in another outfit post soon, it's been far to long. My manfriend actually suggested that I grab some photos with him on wednesday. His exact words were, "Maybe we can take some pictures for your clothes thing... or blog... or whatever it is... you know." How romantic! He does have a cool idea though, I wont tell you specifically (can't ruin the surprise!), but it involves his nerdy hobby of building robots. Trust me it is cooler than it sounds...

A Landscape Before and After

I'm gearing up for my all-girls vacation that starts Saturday, finishing off my DIY Christmas presents, and getting in some extra shifts at work to cover the expenses of said vacation and presents! Needless to say it's taken away from my favourite hobby... BUT I have been able to get my hands on my manfriends fancy GoPro camera. It's limited to fisheye photos but takes really amazing HD video. I'm planning on trying out my video skills on my vacation. My friends and I are going away to Canmore, Alberta from the 18th to 22nd. I've google-mapped all the thrift stores, booked our spa day, and am trying to convince myself I like skiing.

In the meantime, I have a kind of weather before and after. The summer beauty had long faded by the time I started blogging a few months ago, so I didn't get to share what summer looks like here. Though I believe it sometimes, rural Alberta is not just bleak white fields! This is also a preview of what the GoPro can do (both pictures are taken with it). I miss all that yellow!

Seven Polaroids

And a Pistol it Seems

One of my best friends, Jess, got married at the beginning of September. We just got to look at some of the pictures and they are too pretty not to share. 


First of all, I'm second from the left above and look at that air!! I had no idea I could jump that high! haha! 


We had an awesome photographer; Janine Sept (all these photos are by her) and we had tons of fun! I love how vintage inspired the whole wedding was and her dress was gorgeous, I especially loved the little jacket! Plus since I started this blog its been going downhill fast with the weather and here you can see that it's actually nice out sometimes. I'm also wearing contacts, which I don't do very often!

Fallish Ways

Hello. This post is somewhat unrelated to my wardrobe but I haven't blogged in a few days and I had these fall pictures kicking around from my yard a few weeks ago. I love how the seasons influence clothes and wearing the cozy warm fall/winter pieces just makes me feel happy. It seems since the autumn palette emerged in nature it was mirrored in my closet as I'm sure it has in yours. Not that I wear fluorescent colours that often anyway.

I had the old turkey dinner today so I'm sleepy! I have mostly been painting my room and working all long weekend so that may have contributed to my sleepiness. I'll have a little Thanksgiving outfit revisit tomorrow as I didn't get any pics of it today.

My dogs Ninny and Keko also make an appearance down there.
